Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a simple form of cosmetic dentistry.   Dr. Meyer’s offers cosmetic dental procedures and is centrally located in Scottsdale Arizona conveniently near Phoenix and Paradise Valley. Our Arizona cosmetic dental practice offers two basic types of teeth whitening; Home and chair side. The home teeth whitening technique is a slower (about 2 week) process of 4 hours per day. The chair side in-office technique gives you whiter teeth in about an hour.  The teeth whitening process we apply in our Arizona dental office cost more than the home whitening kit.  We offer the home whitening kit as an affordable teeth whitening alternative for those on a budget.

Since neither bleaching technique calls for a change in your diet or lifestyle, your teeth will undoubtedly stain up again (although not to the depth they had been). The benefit of the home bleaching is that you can perform your own touch-ups as needed.  So if you have an important event (i.e. date, wedding, dance, etc.) you can touch up for a couple of hours prior to the event and really freshen up your smile.

For those in a hurry, you really can’t beat the power bleaching. This is about an hour long, in-house process that uses light activated bleaching gel and a special light to activate the gel. A special covering is placed on the gums to protect them. This is then followed with a take home process for future touch ups.
